Dirty ICE&Lemons
Do you ever get ice and lemon in your drinks when you go to restaurants? I know I used to and I would occasionally eat the ice after I was don’t my drink. I never saw a problem with it. My parents also used to get lemons to make their own lemonade. And I used to drink that to. Until one day I was watching the Tyra Banks show and she had a segment about every thing I just mentioned. She had a professor on the show and they did a little experiment that freaked me out. The experiment was to see what was dirty and had more bacteria, Restaurant Ice or Toilet Water. And the results came back showing that Toilet water is in fact cleaner then Restaurant Ice. This is because the ice is in different container’s and in side the dispensers and is move around so much that it picks up a lot of bacteria. And as far as the lemons they can be cut with the same knife as meat and other things that have bacteria of its own.

Yo donnie P I never knew that before I mean I never ate the ice but that is really dirty and I think of how many times I've gone to a restuerant and have got ice in my drink it makes me sick! So i'm glad that you told me that and good article too. No more ice for Bobby Light. (you know ice for drinks not ice for rings. Do work son)

Wow that's crazy I always go to resterants and eat the lemen when I'm done my drink.And if the ice is full with bacteria then as soon as you put the drink in the cup, with the ice the bacteria is in your drink so really nothings really clean in resterants.

Hey Donald!! Um---the article. I think I watched that segment of the Tyra Banks show. I think that's personally disgusting.I would eat the ice out of the beverage I just drank but now...I don't anything out of that cup. NASTY!!! I think that the pott was awesome. Thanks for the heads up!;)
ReplyDeleteWow thats ashame. I never really ate the ice at all let alone drunk the water from restuarants anyway, but now i really wont. I always would drink the soda or something. But thats one thing i always thought about when i ate at a restuarant. Its not that different from the food you may eat from the same places. There was a video from dominos showing the cooks putting frozen cheese bits in their noses and then cooking it, preparing to serve it to whoever ordered it. That stopped me from eating there ever again. So i always think "I wonder who touched this before me" when im eating out or fastfood.
